Casa Origem is located on the Rio da Barra Farm and has a sea view. It is set on a cliff, opening onto a vast horizon of Atlantic Forest tree tops, with the sea in the background. This magnificent view can be enjoyed from the two living rooms, the balcony, the deck, several bedrooms, the pool, the gym, and the garden.
On the west side, the vast area of the farm opens up, a huge rubber plantation of great beauty. Next to the house, there is also an agroforest where vegetables and fruits are grown for consumption by the owners and guests.
General Characteristics
From an architectural point of view, it is a single-story farmhouse, structured in a large U-shape opening onto a lawn that guarantees a full view of the sea. It is a very spacious house, in which all the rooms are extraordinarily generous and converge onto a large veranda that extends onto the extensive lawn.
The pillars, beams, and other structural elements of the roof are wide-gauge and made of very old wood, visible in their natural color. The windows, also made of old hardwood, with low sills and great height, as well as the doors, with their patina showing the effect of time on their surface, mark a style very characteristic of Bahian farms.
The walls of the rooms facing the garden are composed of sliding glass doors, ensuring a permanent view of the garden and the sea, as well as allowing sunlight and natural ventilation to enter the interior.
The living room is equipped with a fireplace and extends, on the same level, to an extensive deck where there is another copper-pot fireplace and a large sofa. The dining room has a table for 10 people and includes a gourmet kitchen area with a pizza oven. A third room, accessed from the balcony and with a more intimate feel, is the TV room.
All five suites have air conditioning, and four of the five suites have bathtubs. One of the suites is located in a bungalow on stilts, at the height of the treetops and with a sea view, minibar, TV, Nespresso machine, a balcony, and a glass-enclosed bathroom surrounded by greenery on all sides.
The infinity pool is made of pebbles and is complemented by a shower, a deck with sun loungers, and a barbecue area. In the pool area, there is also a fully equipped gym with machines and a sauna.
The furniture and decor in all areas are perfectly aligned with the aesthetic of the building, with pieces chosen to evoke the atmosphere of a Bahian farm and the popular art of this region.
This house is very special because it provides a range of wonderful, powerful emotions to its owners and guests. It enjoys both a strong external connection to the sea and nature, as well as an internal environment of maximum comfort and well-being.
